When can I expect my personalized order to be delivered?
Wood Be Nostalgic creates your new heirloom to meet your specific order details with the intent of exceeding your expectations. From scratch to the final design, my wife and I take great care and pride in presenting your finished product. Our unique production process does take the investment of time. We will communicate with you by phone and email throughout the process to make certain we share your vision, and to keep you updated on the process. An order placed with no other pending orders will take approximately 10-14 days to complete and ship. Lead times can greatly change depending on the time of year. On our homepage you will find an estimated lead time based on current order volume. Our goal – even during the busiest season – is to keep delivery time within 6 weeks of the order being placed.
Can I change or cancel my order?
We will review a mock-up with you prior to initiating physical creation of the piece. Once a project is in production, you will not be able to change or cancel the order. Once our unique production steps begin, stopping the process will result in unusable quality wood, materials, and lost time.
I love my new heirloom! May I order another as a gift for someone dear?
The details of your final production are kept in our files, and the piece can be duplicated in a much shorter time frame than the original. Likewise, the cost is also significantly less. See pricing on our order pages for details. Keep in mind that wood grains may have variations in color and pattern, and that no two items will be perfectly identical.
My product was damaged. What can I do?
We want you to cherish the piece we created for you just as much as we would our own family. Please report any damage by completing a My Piece Is Damaged Form . This will require you to upload photos of the damaged item, as well as of the shipping container. Again, keep in mind that we are working with natural wood products, and variations in wood grain, tone and stain shade will occur and are not representative of damage. Natural wood variables such as knots and Wood Be Nostalgic’s unique burn process are part of what makes our products unique and unlike any other products on the market.
What is your refund policy?
My wife and I (the full staff of Wood Be Nostalgic) begin your creation with a blank piece of wood and your concept of the final product. Once the design process starts and we share mockups with you, cancellation at that point will result in a refund minus a $75 creative process charge. Once production of the actual physical design commences refunds unfortunately cannot be offered.
