Photo Suggestions
Photographs that you forward / upload to use can be in most any format, however JPEG is preferred.
Best results are obtained when a photo of the subject is in front of a contrasting background. In other words, someone with grey hair should not be in front of a white background. We utilized Adobe Photoshop to maximize the quality of your photo, and often use it to remove background that may be distracting from the subject. We will never move forward with creating the final project without getting your approval of our results with you first.
Diplomas, Certificates, & Awards
The image of a diploma or other document that you want us to utilize in our project is best obtained using one of the scanning applications on your cellphone or tablet. The best results we've found are by using the Turboscan App, which can be easily downloaded from any app store. It has an option that automatically takes 3 photo scans of your document and combines them into a crisp reproduction. Utilizing a scanning applications negates having to remove your certificate from a glass frame, in that glare typically isn't an issue.
Other Suggestions
Make certain that photos or documents you submit include all margins & edges of the subject you included. Subjects should not be wearing sunglasses. Glare on photos will significantly decrease quality of image reproduction.
